Sorry to do this right after coming back, but due to a personal emergency, I don’t have time this weekend to produce an episode. Look for Episode 166 on 2025-12-21.

I have heard you saying you want another season.

I was going to let the series fade into the Ethernet, in the hopes that I would not jump the shark, but I’ve gotten a couple of requests for a new season, oddly enough all of them just in the past week, so . . . I will create one.

Look for a new episode on November 16th! I don’t even know yet what I’m going to talk about, but I am sure will find something interesting between new and then, because there are always interesting things going on.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s only Spring.

Like years past, I’m taking a hiatus from the podcast until September. I do this largely because it keeps me from burning out. As with years past, if there’s a big story that breaks, I’ll come out of hiatus to bring you the pieces.

That’s pretty much it. I’m going to go touch grass, plant a garden, play with some solar panels, and try to enjoy the warmer months, and I recommend the same to others. Enjoy!

Sorry, listeners, I’ve come down with a bad case of the flu, and my voice is shot. I will create episode 158 when I am better.

Due to a mix of circumstances, including me having a cold that has left my voice unreliable, I am postponing episode 154 until 2024-11-24. Talk to you then!

I’ve decided that, like last year, I need to take a summer hiatus from producing the podcast. If a significant story needs attention, like last year, I’ll break hiatus to bring it to you.

When I return in September, the production schedule will be on the Sunday after the second and fourth Friday of each month, rather than on Saturdays. As such, I expect episode 150 to drop on September 15th. Talk to you then!

Life is being a bit problematic right now and I have no capacity to use to produce today’s podcast. I’ll be back in two weeks, hopefully.

Due to illness, episode 147 is postponed, probably until 2024-04-27. It isn’t lost on me that this happened at the worst possible time, specifically when the whole XZ and SSH matter unfolded, and for that I apologize, but there’s little question about my ability to produce an episode right now . . . that ability is just not there.

Due to a family emergency, Episode 142 will be postponed until the next regularly scheduled slot, 2024-01-27.

My apologies, but this was entirely unavoidable.
